About

Daniel Brunod was born in Brazil in the early 80´s. Right after moving to the United States for a 3 year period, he began his studies at the University of Oklahoma, seeking for a degree in Marketing and Advertising. In 2003 he moved back to Brazil, where he finished his bachelor’s degree at the Universidade Paulista – UNIP – Sao Paulo.
In 2006 Daniel completed his postgraduate studies, obtaining a Masters degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Since the beginning of his career, Daniel always worked in creativity departments for advertising agencies such as ZAP Comunicações and Núcleo de Propaganda Later he joined several other companies to develop his works in marketing, promotion, creation and Internet.
Over the years Daniel participated in numerous successful projects, and has acquired an extensive knowledge in Marketing and Market Intelligence. His experience includes a professional exchange to Germany in 2005.
From personal experience, Daniel soon understood the complexity of different cultures co-existing in common places. This urge to register diversity led him to discover the universe of photography. Very independent, he quickly learned and improved his photographic technique, developing projects for various clients.

2007 – Museum Yad Vashem (Israel) – invited to join the museum collection with a series of photos from the Dachau concentration camp.

2008 – XXV Biennial Photography black and white contest – Brazil – 2 acceptances
2009 - I Bienal de Arte Fotográfica Natureza em Cores – Honours Award
2009 - XVI Bienal Nacional de Arte Fotográfica em Cores – 1 acceptance
